AMTC is surprisingly affordable. It is the best value in the talent event industry. AMTC offers a wide variety of payments plans, discounts, sponsorships, and scholarships. Our goal is for every talented and qualified individual in the world to be able to attend. If you have a calling to perform, a great attitude, intelligence, talent, drive, and perseverance, we want you!
With that being said, the talent industry beyond AMTC does not offer any “free rides.” There are expenses to get to AMTC and expenses to get beyond AMTC into a career: travel, photography, comp cards, headshots, and more. We have found in our 26 years of business that those who truly want to succeed find a way to make it work. Overcoming obstacles, including financial ones, is an important predictor of success.
Still, no one at AMTC and no one who is reputable in the industry wants you to go into debt to get started. We want you to be industrious, ingenious, and work hard! If AMTC (or the costs beyond AMTC) are not in your budget or vision, save your money! Also, join community theatre and church groups to gain experience. Do everything you can on a local level to get in front of people in a healthy and productive way.
