What is your placement rate?

AMTC has placed thousands of people in careers over the past 26 years. In fact, we have over 1000 recent placements listed on this website. Please see the Winners Circle as well as the Top 100.

Want some statistics? At past conventions, approximately 66% of our contestants received at least one call back from a major Scout in attendance. A “call back” indicates interest from a Scout. A call back may become an immediate contract, future interest, referral to another agent, or advice. A call back is an open door to a Scout.

Placement can happen immediately after AMTC. It can also happen weeks, months, or even years after the event. As an example, AMTC’s Brea Peck came to the Labor Day Convention in 2004. Although Brea had lots of interest, her modeling contract and career did not actually begin until 2006! Once she started, Brea’s career took off fast. See Brea’s story.

Our Owner, Carey Arban, says her best guess at offers of representation resulting from AMTC is approximately 20 – 25%.

However, AMTC does not recommend that anyone attend convention simply to “get a contract.” We want contestants to attend convention to learn about the industry, to be the best they can be, to answer the “what if…” question, and to meet the future with no regrets. Placement is impossible to guarantee.
