AMTC hosts many of the most reputable Agents, Managers, Casting Directors, and Music Industry Professionals in the world. For some of these career-makers, AMTC is the only event they attend!
Who comes? AMTC Guest Scouts must be established, respected by their industry, and open to new talent. Beyond industry qualifications, we ask ourselves a key question: “Is this someone with whom I would trust my own child?”
Is AMTC the only place you can meet all of these scouts? Yes! Most high-level agents do not meet new talent at all; they leave that tiring job for assistants or interns. Specifically, acting agents and casting directors rarely if ever have open calls for new talent. You have to “know somebody who knows somebody.” Modeling Agents host an open call for a few specific hours once or twice a month. Even then, often the most inexperienced intern gets the “dreaded” task of prospective model walk-throughs.
Also, how could you meet and get seen by dozens of top agents from all over the world in one time and one place? You couldn’t.
AMTC has spent 25 years building the best connections in talent and modeling: it’s a virtual “Who’s Who” of the industry. The quality of our guest agents is legendary, and this quality is a key factor in the tremendous success that AMTC grads have enjoyed.

Thank you for including me in such a great group of VIP guests at the 25th Anniversary AMTC! As always, it was a privilege to share my knowledge, and see the potential of the new and emerging talent that attended. I thought that the atmosphere at this convention was so upbeat and positive, and I heard many parents and participants praise the dedication, friendliness and knowledge of you and your staff. You go the extra mile, and it shows. Hat’s off to you, and here’s to the future!
