Booked a part in a Sam Raimi film (director of the Spiderman movies)
Booked a role in a Noah Buschell film
Booked an International commercial for Senseo

Former Applause contestant and AMTC Overall Actor, Abbie (McGaha) Cobb (she recently got married) just finished filming an international commercial for SENSEO COFFEE through The Wallis Agency. Here is a portion of her recent email to her AMTC Director, Rick Myers:

Yay! I’m excited, too! Its going to show in Europe, USA, and online too!

The commercial is for a coffee company called Senseo and I am playing “the daughter” who wrecks her father’s BMW and has to go home and tell him… he happens to be drinking the coffee on the front porch when I come home. So basically I am about to tell him (fearfully) and then he takes a sip of Senseo… and the bottom of his mug says “its just a car.” …and then I know everything is going to be okay! The audition was hilarious, and the paycheck is pretty hilarious too (Kim was NOT lying when she talked to us about commercials being a well-kept-pay-check-secret!). Lets just say we don’t have to worry about rent for awhile! Ahh! God is so incredibly good to us, for no reason at all! We are floored!

Do you think there would ever be an opportunity for me to go to AMTC as living proof that this crazy convention changes lives?! haha! I would love to encourage other people to join the band-wagon of LA… maybe I should write to Carey and let her know I’m interested. Just thought you’d like to know!
